Stars sign goaltender Anton Khudobin to two-year contract

The Dallas Stars have signed goaltender Anton Khudobin to a two-year, $5-million contract.

Khudobin, 32, has spent the last two seasons as a backup goaltender for the Boston Bruins.

Last season he had 16-6-7 record with a 2.47 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.

“Anton is a proven NHL netminder that gives his team a chance to win every time he’s on the ice,” Stars GM Jim Nill said in the team’s press release. “We look forward to him joining our club and making a positive impact for the next two seasons.”
