The Dallas Stars have signed restricted free agent Jason Dickinson to a two-year contract, the team announced Thursday.

The contract is worth $3 million, and carries a $1.5-million cap hit through the 2020-21 season.

Dickinson, 24, is coming off a six-goal, 22-point campaign in 67 games with the Stars — all career highs. The forward also tallied three goals and five points in 13 playoff games this past spring. The Stars drafted Dickinson 29th overall in 2013.
