Tom Wilson is launching yet another appeal following his 20-game suspension.
The Washington Capitals forward will go to a third-party arbitrator in an attempt to overturn his suspension, according to Sportsnet’s John Shannon.
Wilson was suspended on Oct. 3 after an illegal check to the head against Oskar Sundqvist of the St. Louis Blues. The NHLPA appealed on Wilson’s behalf, only for the ban to be upheld.
The appeal is to be heard on Wednesday.
