Toronto Maple Leafs announce 2019 pre-season schedule

HC analyst Brian Burke weighs in on the Maple Leafs-Patrick Marleau conundrum, saying they have to be careful with how they handle it, because he's a player that commands respect.

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced their 2019 pre-season schedule on Tuesday, which begins with a game in St. John’s, N.L., in September.

The Leafs will play four games on the road and four games at home, including the game in Newfoundland and Labrador against the Ottawa Senators which is considered a home game. Toronto’s pre-season opponents include the Senators, Buffalo Sabres, Montreal Canadiens and Detroit Red Wings.
