It will mark the fourth time in six seasons the Oilers wound up with the top pick in the draft.
As soon as the Oilers’ golden ticket was revealed, hockey fans across North America took to Twitter and it resulted in #NHLDraftLottery being the top trend in Canada for several hours.
Clearly, nobody was happier than the Oilers and those in Edmonton.
