Mike Kelly is the latest member of the Vegas Golden Knights.
The team announced on Thursday that Kelly has been hired as an assistant coach.
“We are very proud of the addition of Mike to our team’s coaching staff,” said Golden Knights general manager George McPhee in a release. “His experience as a coach at various levels within professional hockey and as a recent assistant coach under Gerard with the Panthers made him a well-rounded candidate.
“His familiarity with Gerard’s coaching style and practices will make this a seamless transition for our club.”
Kelly most recently served under Vegas head coach Gerard Gallant behind the bench of the Florida Panthers from 2014-17.
