Victor Hedman out vs. Rangers with upper-body injury

Damien Cox joins Shawn McKenzie to talk about whether the Tampa Bay Lightning can make a run in the Stanley Cup playoffs without Steven Stamkos and Anton Stralman.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Victor Hedman will not play Tuesday due to an upper-body injury, the team announced.

The Lightning are dealing with injuries to their best players at the worst time of the season. Steven Stamkos will be out 1-3 months with a blood clot, Anton Stralman is out indefinitely with a fractured leg and now Hedman appears to have been hurt in Monday night’s game.

Ryan Callahan will also sit Tuesday with a lower-body injury.
