The Minnesota Wild acquired goaltender Jeff Deslauriers from the Anaheim Ducks for future considerations Wednesday.

Deslauriers was the Edmonton Oilers’ second-round pick (31st overall) in the 2006 NHL Draft.

He did at one point play 48 games with the Oilers in 2009-10.

The 28-year-old joined the Ducks in 2011-12 and has spent time with the Norfolk Admirals and Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League.

He has played 15 games with the Fort Wayne Komets in the ECHL this season.
