Wild sign forward Ryan Hartman to two-year contract

The Minnesota Wild signed forward Ryan Hartman to a two-year contract.

The deal is worth a total of $3.8 million for a $1.9-million annual salary cap hit.

“Ryan will bring grit and competitiveness to our lineup,” Wild general manager Paul Fenton said in a press release announcing the deal. “His compete level is what we are looking for from our team each and every night.”

The 24-year-old had 12 goals and 14 assists plus 74 penalty minutes in 83 games split between the Nashville Predators and Philadelphia Flyers in 2018-19.
