Wild trade Mikael Granlund to Predators for Kevin Fiala

The Minnesota Wild have traded forward Mikael Granlund to the Nashville Predators in exchange for forward Kevin Fiala.

Granlund has 15 goals and 34 assists in 63 games with the Wild this season. The 26-year-old is under contract through the 2019-20 season and carries a $5.75 million cap hit.

Fiala has suited up for 64 games this year, tallying 10 goals and 22 assists. The 22-year-old hits restricted free agency at the end of this season.
