Wild’s Matt Dumba fined for unsportsmanlike conduct

The Wild players couldn’t stop their tempers from flaring after the Jets scored the sixth goal of the game against Alex Stalock.

Minnesota Wild defenceman Matt Dumba was fined $3,000 on Tuesday for unsportsmanlike conduct during Monday’s loss to the Winnipeg Jets.

Dumba squirted water from the bench towards Jets forward Joel Armia at the end of the first period.

The fine is the maximum allowed under the current CBA.

The money goes towards the players’ emergency assistance fund.
