One of the Carolina Hurricanes' top prospects will be joining Team Canada for the upcoming World Juniors in Ottawa.
Forward Bradly Nadeau of the AHL's Chicago Wolves will join Team Canada following this week's development camp, Hockey Canada's vice president of national teams Scott Salmond told reporters in Ottawa.
Nadeau, 19, was a first-round pick (30th overall) by the Hurricanes in 2023. The St.-Francois de Madawaska, NB native has five goals and 12 points in 20 AHL games this season.
Nadeau spent last season at the University of Maine where he had 19 goals and 46 points in 37 games. He turned pro after his freshman season and skated in one game with the Hurricanes at the end of last season.
