MONTREAL — Baie-Comeau Drakkar defenceman Etienne Arseneau was suspended for five games by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League on Sunday for violating the league's anti-discrimination policy.
The ban was a result of inappropriate language used in a Saturday game against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, the league said in a release.
Arseneau, a six-foot-four 185-pound blue-liner, has eight points (1-7) and 36 penalty minutes in 40 games this season.
