Team Canada has put together its camp roster for the 2025 world junior hockey championship.
Gavin McKenna, a projected top pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, is among the forwards being invited, along with Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowan and Winnipeg Jets prospect Brayden Yager.
On the blue line, Canada will have London Knights defenceman Oliver Bonk back, while teammate Sam Dickinson received an invite. In the end, 18 forwards, 10 defenceman, and four goalies have been invited to camp. The team will select 22 for the final roster.
Among the players not listed on the team's camp roster are Michael Misa, a projected top-five pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, Ottawa Senators prospect Carter Yamenchuk, Utah Hockey Club's Tij Iginla and Calgary Flames prospect Zayne Parekh.
Canada will begin the tournament on Dec. 26 in Ottawa, looking to rebound from a fifth-place finish in 2024.
