WINDSOR, Ont. — Luke Evangelista and Colton Smith both scored in an eight-round shootout to lift the London Knights over the Windsor Spitfires 4-3 on Monday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Evangelista also had a pair of goals in regulation time for London (3-0-0) and Stuart Rolofs scored as well.
Goalie Brett Brochu made 35 saves and turned away seven skaters in the shootout for the win.
Wyatt Johnston, Matthew Maggio, and Ryan Abraham supplied the offence for Windsor (1-1-1).
Xavier Medina stopped 29 shots in net for the Spitfires.
The Knights went 1 for 3 on the power play and Windsor was 0 for 4 with the man advantage.

NORTH BAY, Ont. — Brandon Coe had the third-period winner as the Battalion edged Sudbury.
Josh Currie and Simon Rose also scored for North Bay (2-1-0).
Jack Thompson and Alex Assadourian replied for the Wolves (2-1-0).

67’s 7 GENERALS 3
OTTAWA — Jack Matier had two goals and three assists to power the 67’s past Oshawa.
Jack Beck scored twice, including the eventual winner, for Ottawa (2-1-0). Vinzenz Rohrer, Anthony Costantini and Vsevolod Gaidamak also found the back of the net.
Calum Ritchie and Luke Torrance had goals late in the opening period to give the Generals (0-2-1) a 2-1 lead heading into the first intermission. Ryan Stepien added a goal late in the third period.
