Calem Mangone scored the game-winning goal with about six minutes left in the third period to help the Saginaw Spirit to a 2-1 victory over the Soo Greyhounds on Thursday.
Matyas Sapovaliv had the other goal for the Spirit.
Marco Mignosa replied for the visiting Greyhounds.
The Erie Otters dumped the Hamilton Bulldogs 7-2 in the other Ontario Hockey League game on the evening.
