MONCTON, N.B. — Brady Burns scored twice and Jeremie Poirier had three assists as the Saint John Sea Dogs beat the Moncton Wildcats 5-2 on Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.
Riley Bezeau, Leighton Carruthers and Cam MacDonald also scored for the Sea Dogs (11-7-4), who have won 9-of-11 games.
Dominic Leblanc and Jacob Hudson replied for the Wildcats (7-10-3), who are on a four-game slide.
Zachary Emond made 18 saves for Saint John, while Dakota Lund-Cornish stopped 25-of-29 shots for Moncton.
