Mathieu Cataford scored twice and added an assist as the Halifax Mooseheads beat the visiting Acadie-Bathurst Titan 6-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Sunday.
Reece Peitzsche, Josh Lawrence, Evan Boucher and Markus Vidicek also scored for the Mooseheads (43-9-4-3), who are now tied with the Quebec Remparts atop the Eastern Conference with 93 points.
Attilio Biasca and Alexandre Doucet chipped in with two assists each for the winners.
William Bishop and Drew Maddigan scored for the Titan (17-34-5-3), who are last in the 10-team Eastern Conference with 42 points.

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Julien Lanthier's goal at 4:55 of the third period stood as the winner as the Baie-Comeau Drakkar clipped the visiting Chicoutimi Sagueneens 4-2.
Felix Gagnon, Isaac Dufort and Louis-Charles Plourde also scored for the Drakkar (25-30-3-2), who led 1-0 after the first and 2-1 heading into the third.
Etienne Tremblay-Mathieu and Fabrice Fortin scored for the Sagueneens (30-28-2-1), who were outshot 41-31.

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Edouard Cournoyer scored a goal and added two assists as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies topped the visiting Val-d'Or Foreurs 6-4.

SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Alex Drover scored the game-winning goal at 12:59 of the third period as the Saint John Sea Dogs edged the Cape Breton Eagles 6-5.
Peter Reynolds scored twice for the Sea Dogs (21-36-2-1), while Nicolas Bilodeau, Noah Reinhart and Giuseppe Ianniello netted singles.
Olivier Houde scored twice for the Eagles (24-31-3-1), while Angelo Fullerton, Cam Squires and Jacob Newcombe netted singles. Ivan Ivan had three assists in the loss.
