QMJHL Roundup: Doucet scores, leads Foreurs to win over Armada

Alexandre Doucet scored three goals to lead the Val-d'Or Foreurs to a 4-3 win over the Blainville-Bosbriand Armada on Thursday in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Jeremy Michel's power-play goal at 16:40 of the second snapped a 3-3 tie and proved to be the winner for the Foreurs (24-26-4-0).

In the only other league game, the Rimouski Oceanic defeated the Chicoutimi Sagueneens 5-2.

At Val-d'Or, Que., Oleksiy Myklukha had a goal and an assist for the Armada (23-25-3-4). Alexis Gendron and Beck Majdell also scored.

At Chicoutimi, Que., William Dumoulin and Mathis Gauthier had a goal and an assist for Rimouski (28-18-4-4). Frederic Brunet, Xavier Cormier and Jacob Mathieu had the other goals. William Rouleau and Emmanuel Vermette scored for the Sagueneens (21-28-1-4).
