SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Peter Reynolds scored four goals and racked up six points as the Saint John Sea Dogs won their 14th straight game with a 14-2 evisceration of the Cape Breton Eagles.
In total, seven Sea Dogs (46-17-4) skaters tallied at least three points, including Olivier Picard who had five, all coming from assists.
Peter Repcik and Cam Squires scored the Eagles' (14-46-7) goals.
Saint John scored five goals each in the first and second periods and added four more in the final third.
Sea Dogs goalie Nikolas Hurtubise wasn't too busy in victory as he stopped 18 of the 20 shots he saw.
Cape Breton was outshot 49-20

MONCTON, N.B. -- Xavier Simoneau scored at 6:33 of the third period to tie the game up and send it to overtime and he netted the final shootout goal to send Charlottetown (47-13-7) past Moncton (28-30-9). The shootout was a long one with 38 shots taken combined between the two sides.

QUEBEC CITY -- Viljami Marjala has two assists as Quebec (50-15-2) held on to edge Rimouski (33-25-9). The Remparts very nearly blew a 4-0 lead as the Oceanic scored three unanswered between the end of the second period and the 15:25 mark of the third to make it a 4-3 game, but couldn't get anymore after that.

SAGUENAY, Que. -- Vincent Collard scored the only goal in the shootout as Baie-Comeau (23-35-9) squeaked past Chicoutimi (27-34-6). Olivier Adam made 31 saves in the Drakkar win and stopped every shot he faced in the shootout.
