QMJHL Roundup: Roy scores winner, Armada edge Olympiques in shootout

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. — Zachary Roy scored the shootout winner as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada downed the Gatineau Olympiques 4-3 on Tuesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

Olivier Adam made 31 saves to help the Armada (17-9-3) end a three-game skid.

Migeul Tourigny, Blake Richardson and Simon Pinard scored in regulation for Blainville-Boisbriand.

Tristan Allard, Manix Landry and Alexei Prokopenko scored for the Olympiques (15-9-4), who extended their point streak to nine games at 7-0-2.

Remi Poirier turned aside 21 shots for Gatineau.

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. _ Conor Fredette had two goals and an assist, Benjamin Tardif scored once and set up two more, and Victoriaville (14-9-0) jumped out to a seven-goal lead on its way to a win over the Oceanic (11-21-4).

VAL’D’OR, Que. _ Samuel Richard stopped 41-of-45 shots through regulation and overtime, and William Rouleau scored the winner as Rouyn-Noranda (16-16-5) used the shootout to edge the Remparts (16-8-5).
