After a strong finish at the Chevron Championship, Canadian Brooke Henderson has made a return to the top 10 in the Rolex Women's World Rankings.
After finishing in a tie for third this past weekend, Henderson moved up seven spots and is now fifth in the world.
Henderson went into the final round tied for second after she shot a 64 on Saturday, which set a scoring record for the tournament.
It was the eighth time in her career that the Smiths Falls, Ont., native finished top five in a major championship.
"It's great to be contending and in the final group. It's so much fun. The crowds were amazing all week, and just to kind of be in it and to feel that kind of adrenaline and excitement is really awesome," Henderson said after the final round. "So hopefully I can keep moving forward. My game is right there. Just need a couple breaks and fine-tune things, and hopefully I'bb be able to lift a trophy soon."
