Milwaukee Brewers competitive balance pick Tyler Black headlined 17 Canadian-born players selected in the 2021 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
Baseball Canada confirmed the list of Canadians selected across the three-day draft, which wrapped up Tuesday. The group includes three players selected by the Texas Rangers and two by each of the Toronto Blue Jays and Brewers. Ontario led the way with 10 players selected while Saskatchewan, Quebec, British Columbia and Manitoba also produced draft picks.
