The Toronto Blue Jays added another pitching option at the MLB trade deadline in Los Angeles Dodgers righty Ross Stripling. A pair of players to be named later are heading the other way.
Stripling, 30, has posted career-worst numbers in ERA (5.61) and walk rate (2.9 per nine innings). He also leads the majors with 12 home runs allowed.
But in five seasons with the Dodgers, Stripling has a career 3.68 ERA and 3.89 FIP. He was named to the NL All-Star team in 2018.
