The Toronto Blue Jays' minor-league affiliates broke camp on Wednesday as prospects were given their season-opening assignments.

Right-hander Alek Manoah, Toronto's seventh-ranked prospect per MLB Pipeline, will begin the 2021 campaign with triple-A Buffalo on the heels of his impressive spring training. The jump is notable considering Manoah spent the 2019 season at the low-A level.

Double-A New Hampshire features several of the Blue Jays' top prospects, including Austin Martin (2nd), Jordan Groshans (3rd), Simeon Woods Richardson (4th) and Gabriel Moreno (8th).

The triple-A Bisons and double-A Fisher Cats both begin their seasons on May 4.
