The Toronto Blue Jays will open spring training in just over a week with pitchers and catchers reporting on Feb. 18 and the rest of the roster reporting by Feb. 22.
The announcement comes one day after MLB and the MLBPA finalized health and safety protocols to play the 2021 season during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Blue Jays will once again hold spring training in Dunedin, Fla., but have yet to announce where home games will be played. Last season the team called Buffalo’s Sahlen Field home but with triple-A play expected to return in 2021, the team will likely need to find a new home.
The Blue Jays open the regular season on April 1 against the New York Yankees.
