The Toronto Blue Jays will get Bo Bichette back in the lineup but won't have outfielder Daulton Varsho for the second game of their series against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday night.
Bichette sat for Monday's series opener against the Royals. Varsho, playing centre field, went 1-for-4 with a walk and two strikeouts in that game.
Varsho leads the Blue Jays with six home runs this season and has 14 RBI in 30 games and an important defender in the outfield.
Bichette has struggled to open the season, batting .210/.263/.305 with a home run and 10 RBI in 27 games.
With Varsho out and Kevin Kiermaier still injured, George Springer will start in centre, with Cavan Biggio taking his place in right field.
The game can be seen at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
