Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Chad Green had another strong rehab appearance for the Buffalo Bisons on Saturday.
Green didn't allow a hit and struck out one in one inning of relief in a 5-4 loss to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in triple-A action.
Green's second appearance for Buffalo, and fifth in the minors this season, came three days after he allowed a hit and no runs while striking out two in 1.2 innings.
Green, 32, signed with the Blue Jays this off-season while continuing to make his recovery from Tommy John surgery on June 1, 2022 when he was a member of the New York Yankees.
The right-hander had pitched in seven seasons with the Yankees, posting a 3.17 ERA in 383.2 innings with 494 strikeouts.
