Outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. will start at left field Saturday night as the Toronto Blue Jays look for back-to-back away wins against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Gurriel was dealing with left wrist soreness and available off the bench but did not play as the Blue Jays took the series opener 4-0 at PNC Park Friday night.
The native of Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, is slashing .290/.341/.397 with five home runs and 51 RBI this season.
Raimel Tapia will start in centre field in place of George Springer, who will be Toronto's designated hitter. Springer went 0 for 5 from the plate in Friday's win.
Right-hander Trevor Richards will take the mound for the Blue Jays while the Pirates will send righty Johan Ovideo.
