Toronto Blue Jays hitting coach Guillermo Martinez was ejected during the exchange of lineup cards before the start of Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Martinez was thrown out by an umpire and then exchanged words and pointed his finger at Tuesday night's home-plate umpire -- Doug Eddings, who was heavily criticized for his strike zone in the Blue Jays' 12-inning loss to the Chicago White Sox.
Eddings ejected Blue Jays pitching coach Pete Walker late in Tuesday's game.
The Umpire Auditor Twitter account said Eddings missed a season-high 29 calls in Tuesday's game.
Wednesday's bizarre scene unfolded minutes before the finale of a three-game series in which the White Sox have notched a pair of one-run wins.
Eddings was working third base Wednesday.
