Toronto Blue Jays top prospect Ricky Tiedemann didn't need much help from his teammates on Tuesday.
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats left-hander struck out all 11 batters he faced in 3.2 innings of work in a double-A start against the Reading Fightin Phils.
The six-foot-four Tiedemann gave up three runs, though just one was earned. He allowed two hits and walked two, exiting with his team up 5-3.
Tiedemann, who missed 2 1/2 months with a biceps injury, entered the night 0-4 with a 4.73 ERA in 10 starts across three minor-league levels this year. He had struck out 50 and walked 13.
The 21-year-old was a third-round pick by the Blue Jays in 2021.
