The Toronto Blue Jays are making some roster moves ahead of their penultimate game of the season.
The team announced that right-hander Nick Robertson has been recalled from triple-A Buffalo and will be active on Saturday against the Miami Marlins.
The Blue Jays claimed Robertson off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels on Sept. 17th. In two innings of service for triple-A Buffalo, the 26-year-old allowed one hit on 23 pitches.
Across three triple-A teams in 2024, Robertson owns a 6.87 ERA with 38 strikeouts and 24 walks in 36.2 innings.
Additionally, the team announced that LHP Easton Lucas has been optioned to the Spring Training Complex in Dunedin, Fla.
Lucas, 28, was picked up by the Blue Jays on waivers from the Detroit Tigers in August. In 19.2 innings for triple-A Buffalo, Lucas posted a 1.37 ERA with 21 strikeouts and five walks.
