After being forced out of town to start the past two seasons because of renovations at Rogers Centre, the Toronto Blue Jays will enjoy a week-long stay at home to kick off the 2025 season.
The schedule, released Thursday, sees the Blue Jays opening with a four-game series against the powerful Baltimore Orioles at Rogers Centre from March 27-30 before the Washington Nationals come to town the next three days.
Toronto opened with 10 consecutive road games each of the past two years.
The Blue Jays also finish the 2025 season at home, with three games against the Boston Red Sox (Sept. 23-25) and three against the Tampa Bay Rays (Sept. 26-28). It marks the first time since 2019 Toronto will open and close the season at Rogers Centre.
The New York Yankees provide the opposition for the annual Canada Day home game, which is the second game of a four-game series.
Road highlights include Mother's Day weekend in Seattle for B.C. Jays fans (May 9-11), along with four games over a weekend in Detroit for southwestern Ontario supports, July 24-27.
The team plays 48 interleague games, 52 games against AL East opponents and 31 games each against AL Central and AL West teams.
