The Toronto Blue Jays are adding to their bullpen depth.
The Blue Jays acquired right-hander Ryan Burr, the team announced Friday, who has been pitching for the Philadelphia Phillies' triple-A affiliate this year.
Burr, 30, has a 2.16 ERA in 15 games and 16.2 innings with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. He has given up 14 hits, struck out 29 and walked five.
Burr was with the Tampa Bay Rays in the minors last year.
He last played in the majors from 2018-21 as a member of the Chicago White Sox. He has a 4.08 career ERA in 66 games.
