Blue Jays’ Travis Shaw leaves game vs. Red Sox with right knee discomfort

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Travis Shaw was removed in the third inning of the team’s game against the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday with right knee discomfort.

It was not clear when the 30-year-old sustained the injury.

Shaw is slashing .219/.288/.356 with three home runs and eight RBI across 20 games this season, his sixth in the MLB.
