Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has reached new heights this season.
The Toronto Blue Jays slugger set a new personal best with his 189th hit of the season on Saturday.
The milestone came on a two-out single in the first inning against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Guerrero's previous best came in 2021 when he was the runner-up for American League MVP.
This season, Guerrero is hitting .324/.398/.552 with 30 home runs and 99 RBIs. His batting average ranks second in the majors behind just Kansas City Royals superstar Bobby Witt Jr.
Guerrero finished Saturday's game with three hits, bringing his season total to 191, as the Blue Jays fell 3-2 to the Rays.
