The Toronto Blue Jays open the 2023 season on Thursday, March 30 with the first of three games against the Cardinals in St. Louis. Alek Manoah will start for the Blue Jays, who have a fully healthy roster and high expectations for this season after finishing with 92 wins in 2022.
Sportsnet will have complete coverage of Opening Day across the network and streaming on SN NOW. That includes a one-hour special edition of Blue Jays Central at 3 p.m. ET/ noon PT hosted once again by Jamie Campbell and featuring the debut episode of the six-part series Alek Manoah: Obsessed.
The game will then begin with Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez providing play-by-play from St. Louis. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. ET/ 1:10 p.m. PT. It will be available to watch across the four main Sportsnet regional channels, as well as via streaming on SN NOW by subscribing to the service, or signing in with your account from your TV provider.
Additionally, the radio broadcast of the game with play-by-play voice Ben Wagner will be available on Sportsnet 590 The Fan and — new this season — via streaming on sportsnet.ca and the Sportsnet app.
After the game, Shi Davidi will have written coverage of all the day's action on sportsnet.ca and Blue Jays Talk will return live on Sportsnet 590 The Fan and be available on demand after it airs.
