MLB moves start time for decisive Game 5 between Tigers, Guardians

With bad weather in the forecast, MLB has changed the time of Saturday’s decisive Game 5 of the American League Division Series between the Cleveland Guardians and the Detroit Tigers.

First pitch will now be at 1:08 p.m. ET / 10:08 a.m. PT. It was originally scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET.

The winner will meet the New York Yankees in the AL Championship Series.

Cleveland evened the back-and-forth series against Detroit by rallying to win Game 4 on Thursday night. Pinch-hitter David Fry's two-run homer in the seventh inning helped the AL Central champions avoid elimination.
