Shohei Ohtani won his second Most Valuable Player Award for the American League on Thursday, becoming the first two-time unanimous winner in MLB history.
Despite that accomplishment, all eyes and attention weren't necessarily on Ohtani during the announcement... They were on his dog.
Viewers were delighted by the sight of the 29-year-old free agent appearing over video call with a furry friend hanging out by his side. It somehow only got better as the dog indulged his owner in a high five after Ohtani was announced as MVP.
As one could expect, social media quickly blew up over the 'two very good boys.'
