The Boston Red Sox have placed third baseman Rafael Devers on the 10-day injured list with right hamstring inflammation, the team announced.
Devers, 25, started last night’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays at third base, going 1-for-3 with a double.
The 25-year-old leads the American League in hits (113) and is slashing .324.379/.602 with 22 home runs and 55 RBI through 87 games.
Devers was named to the 2022 All-Star Game as the starting third baseman for the American League
