Starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw is returning to the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to a report by Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman of the New York Post.
Kershaw, 35, has been with the Dodgers his entire career — since 2008 — and is a 10-time all-star. He won a World Series with the club in 2020 and has won the National League's Cy Young Award as the best pitcher three times.
According to Sherman, Kershaw had shoulder surgery on Nov. 3 and will not be able to play until the second half of the season, which will be his 17th.
The left-hander is 210-92 all-time and has a career earned-run average of 2.48.
