The Boston Red Sox and right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler have agreed to a one-year, $21.05 million contract, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.
The deal is pending a physical and includes an additional $2.5 million in performance bonuses, Passan added.
Buehler has pitched seven seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is a two-time All-Star (2019 and 2021) and won the World Series twice (2020 and 2024) with the team.
The 30-year-old Buehler recorded a 1-6 record, 5.38 ERA and 64 strikeouts over 16 starts this past season as he returned from Tommy John surgery.
He came out of the bullpen for Game 5 of the World Series against the New York Yankees and earned the series-clinching save on one day of rest.
Buehler holds a career 47-22 record, 3.27 ERA and 754 strikeouts.
