The Minnesota Twins and outfielder Joey Gallo have reportedly agreed to a one-year, $11 million deal according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.
Gallo, 29, appeared in 126 games between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers last season. He had 350 at-bats, collecting 56 hits and driving in 47 runs. The two-time gold glover finished with a batting average of just .160 in 2022.
Gallo has been an all-star twice in his career, first in 2019 with the Texas Rangers, then again in 2021 when he split time with both the Rangers and Yankees.
After struggling last season, he signs on with the Twins hoping to regain the form he had earlier in his career.
For his career, Gallo has a 14.7 WAR and a .199 batting average.
