The Milwaukee Brewers made a pair of additions to their pitching staff on Monday.
The Brewers signed left-hander Wade Miley and have also reportedly added right-hander Joe Ross according to FanSided's Robert Murray.
Miley, 37, signed a one-year, $7 million contract that includes a $12 million mutual option for 2025, according to ESPN's Jesse Rogers. The deal has a $1.5 million buyout with incentives that can bring its total value to $11 million in 2023.
A veteran of 13 big-league seasons, Miley threw 120.1 innings for the Brewers in 2023, posting a 3.14 ERA with 79 strikeouts.
He is a one-time all-star and has pitched for eight different teams in his career.
Ross, 30, last pitched in the majors in 2021 with the Washington Nationals. He played in the San Francisco Giants' minor league system in 2023, throwing 14 innings across three different levels.
In six career MLB seasons, Ross owns a 4.26 ERA with 403 strikeouts over 443.1 innings.
