Reports: Japanese star Yoshida officially posted, has 45 days to sign with MLB team

Orix Buffaloes star outfielder Masataka Yoshida will officially be posted by the NPB team on Wednesday morning, according to multiple reports.

Star Japanese outfielder Masataka Yoshida has officially been posted, sources tell ESPN. He'll have 30 days to sign a deal with an MLB team. There is significant interest in the 29-year-old, who this year hit .335/.447/.551 with 80 walks and 41 strikeouts for the Orix Buffaloes.

Yoshida will have 45 days to sign a contract with an MLB team.

The 29-year-old hit .335 with 21 home runs and 88 RBI while drawing 80 walks and striking out just 41 times with the Buffaloes.

The Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees have been mentioned as two clubs that reportedly will have interest in signing the left-handed hitting outfielder.
