The Cincinnati Reds are bolstering their bullpen.
The Reds are acquiring left-handed reliever Taylor Rogers from the San Francisco Giants in exchange for right-hand pitcher Braxton Roxby, per multiple reports.
Rogers, 34, posted a 2.40 ERA in 60 innings last season. A one-time All-Star, the southpaw will help Cincinnati solidify the backend of the bullpen.
He owns a 3.34 ERA over his nine-year MLB career.
Roxby spent last season with double-A Chattanooga. In 39 relief appearances, the 25-year-old had a 5.21 ERA and struck out 65 batters.
