In a return to his former organization, the Toronto Blue Jays have signed right-handed pitcher Joe Biagini to a minor-league deal, Sportsnet's Jamie Campbell reported Thursday.
Biagini, 31, returns to the organization after two years away, when he spent time with the Houston Astros and the Chicago Cubs or their minor-league affiliates.
Over 309 innings in four seasons as a starter and reliever with the Blue Jays, Biagini posted a 4.74 earned-run average and was reliable coming out of the bullpen during the 2016 playoffs.
