Toronto Blue Jays right-handed reliever Yimi Garcia has been reinstated from the 15-day injured list and will be active for Friday night's game against the Seattle Mariners.

To make room for Garcia, right-hander Casey Lawrence has been optioned to triple-A Buffalo.

Garcia, who was out with a left-back strain, has been one of the high leverage relievers for Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo this season. He is 1-3 with a 3.42 ERA, 26 strikeouts and five walks this season.

Lawrence was the bulk pitcher in Thursday night's loss in Seattle. He gave up five runs on seven hits in 2.2 innings.
