The Toronto Blue Jays will get a chance to see what Ricky Tiedemann can do against a major-league lineup.
The Blue Jays' top prospect will make his long-awaited spring debut against the Philadelphia Phillies after having his first start delayed by left knee/hamstring soreness.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will return to the lineup after getting a couple of days off to recover from a jammed middle finger. Guerrero Jr. suffered the injury during a plate appearance Tuesday.
Tiedemann will face a strong test in his first outing of the spring as the Phillies will field a lineup full of major-league players, including Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner and J.T. Realmuto at the top of the order.
Watch the Blue Jays take on the Phillies at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet+.
