Theo Epstein has stepped down as president of the Chicago Cubs after nine seasons, ending an era that included the team’s first World Series title in 108 years.
As the club gets set to transition under new president Jed Hoyer, fans took to Twitter to wish Epstein well and thank him for his contributions to one of the most successful decades in franchise history.
Fans of other teams, meanwhile, have already begun lobbying for him to run their franchises.
